How Motion Bristol shaped a generation of south-west raving

Housed in a Grade II listed Victorian warehouse, Motion spent two decades at the heart of Bristol’s nightlife. From hosting anarchic raves amongst the ramps and half-pipes of a skatepark, to becoming an internationally recognised venue, it reshaped the city’s club culture and helped launch the careers of multiple major DJs.
