PAC-MAN gets a dark twist in Shadow Labyrinth, available now

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has dropped a rather unusual title. Shadow Labyrinth is a homage to the arcade history of this brand, very specifically PAC-MAN. Playing as Swordsman No. 8 and guided by a very familiar-looking yellow orb named PUCK, you must make your way through hostile environments and face gruesome bosses in this metroidvannia, where combat takes center stage. It’s not exactly what we were expecting for this franchise, but we can’t deny the trailer down below looks pretty awesome. What’s more, Shadow Labyrinth is available right now on PC and consoles. Outside of the standard edition, either in physical or digital release, a Digital Deluxe edition is also available, which comes with an art book and soundtrack for the game. And every edition currently has a special release bonus where they come with the PAC-MAN Arcade Sound FX Pack. Definitely an extra reason not to wait too long if you’re into this nostalgic trip!
