KSUSTA Renamed Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology
New Name, Same Campus The Kebbi State government has approved a new name for Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero (KSUSTA). The school will now be called Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero (AFUSTA). This change was officially confirmed in a letter dated 27 May 2025, sent by the state’s Commissioner for Higher Education on behalf of Governor Dr Nasir Idris. What This Means The renaming has passed through the State House of Assembly and is now official. From this point forward, all letters, forms, references, and records should carry the updated name: AFUSTA. The university
