FUWUKARI Gets Green Light to Admit MBBS Students Again
MDCN Grants Accreditation Federal University Wukari (FUWUKARI), Taraba State, can now admit students into its Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme. After years of waiting, the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) has given the university provisional pre-clinical accreditation. The MDCN team visited the school on 3 July 2025 for a full assessment. Following the visit, the council sent a letter dated 8 July 2025, signed by its Registrar, Prof. Fatima Kyari. The letter confirmed the approval and lifted the ban on admitting new medical students. This means FUWUKARI will start taking fresh MBBS students again from
