Oyo Govt Partners AfCFTA to Launch Implementation Strategy

By Our Correspondent The Oyo State Government, in partnership with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, is set to officially launch the Oyo State Sub-National AfCFTA Implementation Strategy.The landmark event is scheduled to hold on September 12, 2025, at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Oyo State.The launch aims to harness the vast potential of the AfCFTA to boost economic growth, create jobs, and increase trade opportunities for Oyo State and Nigeria at large. By strategically implementing the AfCFTA, the state government seeks to attract investments, enhance competitiveness, and improve the business environment.The event will be graced by prominent figures, including Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State, who will serve as the Chief Host.
