APAD: Maxim and InDrive Placed Under 3-Month Monitoring Period
The Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) has now issued a statement, saying that MAXIM and InDrive, two ride-hailing services operating in Malaysia, have now been placed under three months of monitoring.For your information, previously, APAD had issued a notice of cancellation of business licenses for both operating companies, due to non-compliance, especially in terms of E-Hailing Vehicle Permit requirements. In parallel, both companies have appealed, and are required to make corrections before 24 July 2025.Maxim and InDrive are now said to have improved their registration systems, in addition to providing APAD with data access in the process of cross-checking between company data and data under APAD's management. Company representatives are also required to attend the APAD Headquarters every month during this monitoring period.
