Apple May Produce MR Smart Glasses That Connect to iPhones

Last week the Meta Orion was shown as a mixed reality (MR) glasses that uses an iPhone to provide processing power. Now in a Bloomberg report, Apple is now considering the direction of their headset output that is different from the Vision Pro.The first direction is the same as the Meta Orion where the smart glasses are connected to an iPhone that will do all the processing. With this lighter and smaller glasses can be developed and at the same time reduce the cost to buy them compared to Vision Pro.The second strategy is again following the steps of Ray-Ban X Meta where the smart glasses are only equipped with a camera and have the ability to understand voice commands given by the user. There is also a third strategy where the camera is placed on an AirPods with it understanding the surrounding situation. With the help of AI, AirPods are able to offer the same experience as the second strategy but without a pair of glasses.The next strategy is to continue the development of Vision Pro but the cost reduction is done with a lower resolution screen, and also more affordable components. Finally, the strategy is to hope that technology changes enough to realize the dream of a pair of AR glasses with a display directly on the mirror, and a battery, camera, motion tracking capabilities and a processor packed into a device that still looks like regular glasses.Apple needs to find the best direction in the near future because at this point Vision Pro will not be able to achieve their goals due to high costs and technological constraints.
