Lenovo Confirms Legion Go S Console via BIOS Update
A few months ago, we confirmed the existence of the Lenovo Legion Go S console, which is expected to be introduced at CES 2025 in January for the more affordable gaming device market.Previously, the console's frame was shown, but now it seems that Lenovo itself has leaked the existence of the console via a BIOS update download link, with the model name Lenovo Legion Go S 8ARP1.There are those who managed to download the update software to review the specifications of this console, and they seem to confirm that the Lenovo Legion Go S will use the AMD Rembrandt APU processing chip which combines the AMD Zen 3+ processing chip and the RDNA 2 graphics chip.For the console update that will be introduced later, it is widely known that AMD is expected to show the AMD Ryzen Z2 series of processing chips which may consist of the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme, AMD Ryzen Z2 and AMD Ryzen Z2G. It is expected that the Lenovo Legion Go S will use the AMD Ryzen Z2G.In terms of console design, it is said that the Legion Go S will come with a controller that is attached directly to the console, and cannot be detached, unlike the original Lenovo Legion Go.As previously mentioned, Lenovo is expected to introduce new Legion Go models during the CES 2025 event.
