Nothing Will Support AirDrop Soon

Last week, Google unexpectedly announced that Android and iPhone devices can send files using the AirDrop and QuickShare protocols without the need to install third-party apps like WhatsApp. What's disappointing is that this feature is only supported on the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold at this time.Immediately after Google's announcement, Nothing CEO Carl Pei said that his company is working to support this cross-operating system file transfer feature on its devices as soon as possible.This year, the European Commission has asked Apple to open up the AirDrop ecosystem to other devices to comply with the Digital Market Act (DMA). Apple opposed this directive, saying it could pose a security risk to its users. Google provided this support without Apple's help, and the question is whether an update will be provided to block it in the future.
