FRESNO, Calif. — A federal court in California will let two pregnant women proceed pseudonymously in their class action against LifeLong Adoptions, a for-profit adoption agency that allegedly sold personally identifiable information about the women, including the fact they want to put their unborn children up for adoption, to internet advertisers. The sensitive nature of their claims, especially factual aspects of their unplanned pregnancies, warrant the use of pseudonyms.
