CARMEL – The Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District Board of Directors is considering the appointment of Eric Morgan as general manager of the parks district at its meeting on Tuesday. Morgan retired from the Bureau of Land Management as the manager of the Fort Ord National Monument after more than 25 years, helping to transform the former military base into a destination for recreation and conservation.
