Trump is already eyeing more 'Alligator Alcatraz' prisons

President Donald Trump announced to the press and attendees at his tour of the immigration detention facility in the Florida Everglades that he has heard there will be another one built in Florida. Trump has celebrated the temporary facility, calling it "so professional and so well done." The temporary tents feature rows of bunk beds encased in chain-link fences.He went on to say that he hopes that it will be a model recreated in "many states.""I know Ron's doing a second one," Trump said about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R). "At least a second one. Uh, probably a couple of more. And, you know, at some point, they might morph into a system where you're gonna keep it for a long time. You know, it's not that far away from jails that take years to build and money is spent and wasted and, you know, you're the railway that they have in California they call -- costs like, 40 times more than it was supposed to cost. The same things happen with prisons. You look at this, in a short period of time, Ron, James, and some of the people that really worked on it, along with our people, they did this in uh, less than a week."
