Viking warriors drew their shields, artisans displayed their wares and visitors strolled about in medieval and fantasy gear for the final day of the Ohio Viking Festival. The three-day festival wrapped up its 10th anniversary and its first year at the Lake County Fairgrounds on June 22. Entertainment Director Richard Brentar said organizers were “pretty happy” with how the gathering turned out this year. “We were a little concerned, because moving a festival from one place to another always will generally cost you something, whether it’s just money or it’s some of the crowds that come in, but we’ve had some decent crowds,” Brentar said.
