Ousted former Rep. George Santos (R-NY) stunned media personality Tucker Carlson in an interview published Friday, voicing fears that he wouldn’t last long during his impending prison sentence on identity theft and wire fraud charges.“I don’t know that I survive it,” Santos said after being asked by Carlson his thoughts on his impending 87-month sentence, set to begin no later than July 25.“They're putting me in a violent prison, I’m not a streetwise guy, I don’t know how to fight, I’m a gay man, and statistics tell you what happens to gay men in prison. I don’t know that I survive this. I’m being honest.”Santos was elected to Congress in 2022, but was soon expelled by the House following his federal indictment, as well as the findings of an investigation by the House Ethics Committee. Earlier this week, Santos further expressed his fears of his impending sentence, proclaiming that he was “not suicidal,” “not depressed,” and that he had “no intentions of harming” himself while incarcerated.“Are you serious?” Carlson asked Santos.“I’m genuinely serious,” Santos responded. “I’ve never had to fight a day in my life, I grew up in a very sheltered life… this could be very much my last interview, and I’m not trying to be overdramatic here, I’m just being honest to you.”Santos was found to have fabricated much of his education and employment history leading up to his election victory, having proclaimed himself to be Jewish, claimed he attended schools that had no record of his enrollment, and that he had been a “seasoned Wall Street financier and investor.”Watch the video below or use this link.🚨NEW: George Santos *PANICS* to Tucker Carlson about losing his life in prison🚨SANTOS: "They're putting me in a violent prison.""I'm not a streetwise guy.
