Putting summer memories within reach

For many kids, the experience of sleep-away summer camp is a rite of passage – that first sweet taste of independence from parents, new friendships forged around nightly campfires and days packed with device-free activities. That kind of traditional camp experience is often out of reach for kids with disabilities, but it’s Bay Cliff Health Camp’s mission to change that. Bay Cliff is a 91-year-old therapeutic summer camp for children with disabilities in Big Bay, on the shores of Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula.
