Cradle Of Filth have fired guitarist Marek 'Ashok' Smerda with immediate effect. Smerda posted a message online on Tuesday (26.08.25) confirming his plans to exit the group once their live shows are complete after his wife - the band's keyboardist Zoe Marie Federoff - also quit this week with the musician claiming they didn't want to continue working "high" stress jobs for "relatively low pay".
