'Disgusting human being': Trump spokesman triggered by Biden's Fourth of July speech

President Joe Biden managed once again to send former President Donald Trump's campaign spokesperson into conniptions on Thursday.The president kicked off July 4 celebrations with a rousing speech at the White House honoring the sacrifice of veterans — but he appeared to veer off-script at one point to make a jab at former Trump for his disrespect of American troops.Specifically, he referenced 2020 reporting in The Atlantic that Trump didn't want to visit a French gravesite for 1,800 U.S. Marines from World War I, disparaging them as "losers" and "suckers" for giving their lives for their country — a claim Biden also slammed Trump on directly during last week's debate in Atlanta.ALSO READ: The stunning reason Donald Trump thinks he’s going to win"By the way, you know, I was in that World War I cemetery in France, the one that my — the former president didn't want to go and be up there. John Kelly, who has confirmed Trump said, as Kelly stood in front of his son's grave in Arlington National Cemetery, "I don't get it...What was in it for them?"Trump, for his part, has issued a challenge for Biden to accept another debate, on top of the one that is already scheduled to take place in September.
