Vietnamese Flee Flooded Homes

Carrying televisions and other household appliances, Hue and some of his neighbors were the last group of residents to leave their homes in the community next to a fast-flowing river. Heavy rains caused by Typhoon Yagi, the most powerful typhoon to hit northern Vietnam in 30 years, have caused the Red River and its tributaries to overflow their banks, triggering floods and landslides in more than a dozen provinces, killing at least 82 people.
