'This is odd': Questions raised about Secret Service move to 'expose' Trump after shooting

The U.S. Secret Service agents who tackled Donald Trump to the ground after an apparent shooting at his rally on Saturday actually put the former president in greater harm and answers are necessary, according to Trump's former campaign aide. Trump went down after loud pops were heard at his rally in Pennsylvania. The ex-president was escorted by security off the stage, and was seen with his ear bleeding profusely. Trump then pumped his fists as he was taken to his motorcade and removed from the premises. A.J. Delgado, formerly a senior adviser to the Trump presidential campaign in 2016 who worked for the Trump transition team after the 2016 election, had a controversial take. "I am curious to hear from what must be a true samurai/ninja/sharp-shooter, to have gotten off so many shots before anyone realized what was happening. In response to a photo of Trump raising his arm below an American flag, blood coming from his ear as Secret Service appears to lift him, Delgado added, "Looks to me like: Secret Service leaving Trump completely open/exposed for further shots." "Yeah, I would LOVE someone to explain this," she then added. "Not weird at all." Delgado further said, "This is totally normal, you guys. Because when a presidential candidate has just been shot at, the first thing FOUR SS agents do is leave him COMPLETELY OPEN with his head and shoulders sticking out, ON A STAGE, WHERE HE HAS JUST BEEN SHOT. NOTHING ODD HERE."She then added a caveat: "Of course, it's just possible his security detail is just f------- horrid at their job. Never rule out incompetence as the answer to things."
