'Return fire': Attorney general wannabe explodes Trump legal docs in campaign ad

Missouri needs an attorney general who’s ready to put on a fleece vest and blow up legal evidence against his political allies with a grenade launcher. That’s the message from Will Scharf, who does just that in his latest campaign video boasting of his loyalty to his client and convicted felon, Donald Trump, a former president. “Joe Biden and his corrupt allies are wrecking our legal system, doing everything they can to stop President Trump and the MAGA agenda,” Scharf declares.“It’s time for a Missouri Attorney General who will return fire.” In the video, court records from Trump’s various criminal court cases fall conveniently from the sky onto a field where Scharf, his vest and his gun are ready. Soon file boxes have piled up on the idyllic grassy terrain — then Scharf takes aim and sets it all on fire. “TRUMP ATTORNEY WILL SCHARF” an action movie-styled caption reads. “As President Trump’s attorney, and as a former federal prosecutor, I fought Joe Biden and locked up hardened criminals,” Scharf explains. “Now I’m ready to fight for Missouri.”ALSO READ: Republicans weaponizing ignorance is a dangerous gameTrump faces no criminal prosecution in the state of Missouri. Scharf is running in a Republican primary against current attorney general Andrew Bailey, who has filed a lawsuit against the entirety of New York State because a Manhattan criminal court judge issued a gag order against Trump. The New Republic argued Bailey filed suit for “the dumbest reason ever.” Scharf’s bold decision to blow up fake court documents in an empty field in front of a camera crew earned him much praise from MAGA supporters.“Thank you for your courage by fighting back,” replied X user @DFlorio21. “They will never stop unless someone stops them.”It’s worth noting that, in the 21st century, courts regularly upload court documents digitally, rendering the physical destruction of fake copies rather pointless. “I have met you and feel you will put an end to our madness,” @Lizzy_STL responded to the video of an attorney general hopeful launching a grenade at court documents. Others were less impressed. “I am saddened by this sad and ineffective display of masculinity,” admitted Philipp Schweighauser, a literature professor at the University of Basel.“So the only way to keep Trump from being convicted of his 100's of crimes, is to blow up the evidence,” replied X user @FamilyTimeWarp. “That's corrupt, af.”
