Cooperation between Kyiv and Warsaw on joint drone production is already underway and must be mutually beneficial, according to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. He told this to reporters during a press conference, Ukrinform reports. "Cooperation on drone manufacturing is already ongoing at both the technical and organizational levels. It must be mutually beneficial. We want to help Ukraine replenish its drone stockpiles, especially given that Russia's drone strikes now exceed anything previously seen — over 500 [drone] attacks were recorded during a single night. This can only be compared to what happened in Europe during World War II," Tusk said. He stressed that Poland aims to support Ukraine's drone production, while Ukraine has expressed interest in transferring technology so that Polish partners can learn from the Ukrainian experience. "Today, the entire world is learning from Ukrainians when it comes to modern battlefield technology and drone warfare," Tusk said. "But most importantly, Ukraine must not lose this war." President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told reporters at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome that Ukraine had found an effective way to intercept large numbers of Russian drones. The current priority, he said, is securing funding for large-scale production of interceptor drones. Earlier reports said that Warsaw was working closely with Kyiv on adapting drone production to the evolving conditions of the battlefield.
