Russia’s potential gradually being exhausted

Russia is trying to make the most of Trump's 50-day “ultimatum” to increase pressure on the front. However, its potential is gradually weakening, and this is already evident in all areas. This was stated by Ukrainian politician and diplomat Roman Bezsmertny in an interview with Ukrinform. “Russia will act as long and as much as its own potential allows. But this potential is gradually diminishing. And this is already evident in all areas,” Bezsmertny noted. According to the diplomat, despite the alarming figures regarding the scale of attacks, in particular massive drone strikes, it is necessary to carefully analyze not only the quantity but also the quality of these weapons. “In most cases, these are dummies. Therefore, it is important to clearly separate the information background from the actual combat process. Even official statistics on drones, missiles, and the use of artificial intelligence require in-depth analysis. A superficial approach only plays into the hands of Russian propaganda,” Bezsmertny noted. He emphasized that Moscow, as before, is betting on massiveness, numbers, and quantitative superiority, but such logic has its limits. “This model has repeatedly failed, both in military theory and in practice. What compensates for quantitative superiority is technological superiority. This means precision, efficiency, and adaptability. This is what General Mark Milley has been talking about constantly and what General Valerii Zaluzhnyi emphasizes,” the politician stressed. He also mentioned Keith Kellogg's recent visit to Kyiv as Donald Trump's special representative and highlighted the key message with which he returned to the US. “What did Kellogg take back with him? First and foremost, a simple but fundamental thesis: ‘Ukraine can win’. And this is not an office conviction, but a conclusion based on direct familiarity with the situation on the ground,” Bezsmertny emphasized. In his opinion, the war is entering a new phase, where the advantage will not go to those who have more, but to those who act smarter, faster, and more accurately.
