World leaders congratulated Ukraine on Independence Day

A number of world leaders have congratulated Ukraine on Independence Day. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as by the politicians themselves on X. King Charles III of the United Kingdom and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, also joined in the congratulations. President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda recorded his greeting in Ukrainian. "For four years you have been fighting for the ability to live in your free homeland. He added that Lithuania will always be by Ukraine’s side, providing military, political, and financial support. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stressed that Sweden will continue to support Ukraine. "Today is Ukraine’s Independence Day. We support the Ukrainian people. Ukraine is fighting not only for its own freedom and security but also for ours. Glory to Ukraine!" he added.
