Mother and daughter in Co Mayo and another man in Westmeath also died in road crashes in recent days

The incident occurred yesterday afternoon.

Paul MacKenzie died following a collision near to the junction at Clocklunie Road on the B981.

Aisling Moore and daughter Abbigael (8) from Swinford were killed in a collision with a lorry on Tuesday

There have now been four deaths on the roads since yesterday evening.

The collision happened on the N20 Cork-Limerick road at Ballyhea near Charleville shortly after 9pm last night.

A man has died after the vehicle he was driving veered off the road and crashed into a dam.

MONTREAL — A man in his sixties has died after a car crash on Friday afternoon in the Centre-du-Québec region of the province.

The incident happened this morning at 12.30am outside a house in An Caislean Mor in Castleisland. It is believed both men are known to each other.
