Rajasthan: Overflowing dam creates huge crater; villages submerged, roads washed out

Relentless rainfall in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur has caused the Surwal Dam to overflow, leading to a massive crater and widespread flooding. Villages are submerged, forcing mass evacuations and disrupting relief efforts due to impassable roads. In Dausa, continuous rain has flooded neighborhoods and damaged infrastructure, while in Amer, a portion of the Rambagh wall collapsed, suspending elephant rides.
