Karnataka horror: Father strangles daughter over relationship issue; stages it as suicide
In Karnataka's Kalaburagi, a father has been arrested for allegedly murdering his 18-year-old daughter due to her relationship with a man from another community. Shankar staged the death as a suicide in Melakunda village, according to Police Commissioner Sharanappa S D. He reportedly strangled her and forced pesticide into her mouth after she remained adamant about the relationship.
