Woman starts two wildfires to flirt with firefighters

A woman from Tripoli, Greece, has been convicted for intentionally setting two wildfires to flirt with firefighters. She received a three-year suspended prison sentence and a €1,000 fine. The fire department quickly controlled the blazes, which is critical given the severe wildfire outbreaks in Greece during August 2024.
