Putin is meeting a lot of world leaders for a global ‘outcast’

President Vladimir Putin is experiencing a surge in diplomatic activity both domestically and internationally, challenging efforts by the US and its allies to isolate him due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Since beginning his fifth presidential term in May, Putin has held over 20 meetings with leaders from various regions, including Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. He has also made six international trips, despite an arrest warrant issued against him by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes in Ukraine.
