Criticism of President mounts over position on Information Commissioner

-as protest continues Members of civil society gathered on Friday for a second protest outside the Office of the President over the inactivity of the Commissioner of Information and President Irfaan Ali’s failure to take action.  Demonstrators specifically targeted Charles Ramson, the Commissioner of Information, over inaction and obstruction of information requests, arguing that Ramson’s office has consistently failed to provide citizens with  requested information, undermining government transparency and accountability.
