GFA updates Youth Football Timeline, extends calendar to November 2025

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has updated its offseason Youth Football Timeline, extending the programme into November 2025 to allow for broader participation and improved development structures.Originally set to run from August to October, the revised schedule will now span from August through to November 2025, with all competitions hosted at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.Under the theme “Power to the Youth”, the timeline begins with the Elite U15 Boys Colts Championship from 25th to 31st August, continuing the GFA’s efforts to spotlight emerging talent at the grassroots level.The KGL U17 Colts Boys Inter-Regional Championship, initially slated for early August, has been rescheduled to 19th to 28th September, bringing together the top U17 players from across the regions.In October, attention turns to girls' competitions. The Elite U15 Girls Inter-Regional Championship will take place from 5th to 11th October, followed by the Elite U17 Girls Colts Championship from 14th to 19th October, marking the debut of the U17 girls' edition.From 23rd October to 2nd November, the GFA will roll out the maiden Second Division Elite U19 Championship, featuring talent exclusively drawn from regional second division clubs.The updated timeline reinforces the Association’s commitment...
