Frederick Asare expresses gratitude as he departs Kotoko

Goalkeeper Frederick Asare has bid farewell to Kumasi Asante Kotoko after three incredible years with the Porcupine Warriors thanking authorities and all stakeholders of the club.Asare's departure follows the breakdown of talks over a new deal.Asare expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the club, saying, "From the depth of my heart, I say a very big THANK YOU to His Royal Majesty, Otumfour Osei Tutu II, the management, teammates, and of course, the amazing supporters of this GREAT CLUB."Asare credited Kotoko for transforming him into a warrior, saying, "I came here as a young boy, but after 3 wonderful years, this club has transformed me into into a warrior." He cherished the memory of leading the team to lift the FA Cup.He also wished the club the best for the future, saying, "I will FOREVER remain one of you, and the great memories we have shared will be with me forever. I wish the club the very best for the next season and the many seasons to come."
