Collision knocks out power in Madoc

A single-vehicle collision on Highway 7 in Madoc knocked out power to hundreds of Hydro One customers on Wednesday morning. Central Hastings OPP were called after a vehicle struck a Hydro pole on Highway 7 at Concession Road in Madoc Township just after 6:30 a.m. The road is open to traffic. Hydro crews are currently on the scene working to restore electricity for around 500 customers. Power is estimated to be back on between 10 a.m. and 10:15 a.m....
