QH award recognizes physician investment in ICU pacemaker simulator

A physician investment in a pacemaker simulator was recognized with honours from Quinte Health. The organization’s board of directors handed out its Values in Action Award at its meeting on Tuesday to Shelley Kay, representing Belleville General Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit doctors. That group personally donated $20,000 toward the purchase of a $40,000 high-fidelity pacemaker simulator for the ICU.
