A Quick Writing Contest.

Here is your chance to keep your ink flowing. There will be no cash prize this time. It should be driven by your motivation to keep writing.  TASK: Write on one, two or all three of the following prompts. 1. Using the theme, “Anatomy of dying Screams”, write an ode to the many innocent souls lost during Yelwata attacks and other previous attacks in Benue State, Nigeria (Poetry) 2. Write about a trending issue in the country, using your creative freedom to emphasise the issues, challenges and possible solutions. (Nonfiction). 3. Create a fictitious story on the current national issues in Nigeria, weaving the plot around well-defined key personalities in the country. (Fiction) IMPORTANT!!! Read carefully and follow the instructions. Please do not hesitate to seek further clarification via admin@cmonionline.com or the community platform. Publish your work and send the link to admin@cmonionline.com Include original images and use hyperlinks to enrich your work. The word count for fiction/nonfiction is 1500-2000 and 500-700 for poetry (± 10%) The deadline for submission is on or before Wednesday, 02/07/2025, at 11:59 pm. The winners will be determined during a peer review session on Sunday, 06/07/2025, at 5:00 pm. Goodluck!
