Beyond the Headlines - local scholarship winners

The leaders of the future sometimes need a little extra help to make their dreams a reality. Congratulations go out to two of our youngest and brightest minds! Yesterday, the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board announced that Andrew Chisholm of Nicholson Catholic College in Belleville and Victoria Elkington of Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School, Kingston were both awarded Schulich Leader Scholarships. The bursaries, worth $120,000, will assist both students as they continue their studies at Queen's University in Kingston.
