Prince Edward County breaks ground on new long-term care home

Prince Edward County has broken ground on a brand new long-term care home with 160 new, modern long-term care beds. The new long-term care home is being built right beside the current H.J. McFarland Home in Picton. Ontario is investing nearly $60 billion in major health infrastructure over the next ten years, with a significant portion allocated to building and modernizing long-term care homes.
