Knife-wielding man arrested in Picton

Prince Edward OPP have charged a 35-year-old man with several weapons offences following an incident in Picton on Friday. Around 5:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of a man running through Picton wielding a knife at members of the public. Paul Johnson of Picton was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, assault with intent to resist arrest, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of a prohibited device. He was remanded into custody and is to appear in court on Monday. Police say no members of the public were injured in the incident....
