One person seriously injured in violent attack in Cobourg

Police are asking for anyone with video footage to come forward as they investigate a violent attack in a wooded area in Cobourg. Members of the Cobourg Police Service responded to the area of Fisher Street and Kerr Street to a report of an assault around 7 am on Tuesday. Two males dressed in dark clothing and wearing masks entered a wooded area. They assaulted two individuals in a tent with bear spray and a baseball bat. One victim sustained minor injuries and was cleared on scene. One victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The suspects are believed...
