Float plane crashes into East Lake in PEC

Two people escaped without injuries after the float plane they were in crash-landed on East Lake in Prince Edward County on Wednesday. It happened around 12:30 pm in the Flakes Cove area. Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue used a boat to rescue the two occupants who managed to get out of the plane and onto a wing. People in the area can expect to see an increased police and other first responder presence in the area this afternoon. The Transportation Safety Board has been notified of the incident....
