Updated Community Grant Policy for Quinte West

Quinte West Council gave its approval to a Community Grant Fund Policy update at its meeting on Wednesday. Staff stated the amended policy will assist in streamlining the application and approval process of community fund grants and avoid duplication with other city funding programs. During the 2025 Community Fund intake, the City received 37 applications totalling $152,419. Council approved staff’s recommendation that included 19 recipients totalling $76,550 in funding. After the 2025 intake, staff cross-referenced the applications with the policy guidelines and discovered that more specific requirements and details were needed in the policy to better outline the objective and...
