Trenton man charged with impaired operation, driving while suspended

Impaired driving charges have been laid against a Trenton man after a vehicle was located in a Belleville parking lot. Erratic driving had been reported in the city's north end before 3:30 a.m. early Thursday morning. Belleville Police officers found the vehicle with a male driver that was determined to be impaired inside in a Bell Boulevard parking lot and found out that he was a prohibited driver. 32-year-old Douglas Kelly is charged with two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, operating a vehicle while impaired and driving while under suspension.
