CFB Trenton aircrew rescues person at Algonquin Provincial Park

An aircrew from CFB Trenton rescued a person in distress at Algonquin Provincial Park early Friday morning. Shortly after midnight on July 11, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre at CFB Trenton received a call from the OPP who were contacted about a patient suffering a severe allergic reaction in the park. A CH-146 Griffon heliicopter from 8-Wing was tasked to the area and successfully extracted the patient to an ambulance at Smoke Lake for transport to hospital....
