A wildfire in Marmora & Lake, south of Coe Hill, is now considered under control. The Ministry of Natural Resources advised the municipality and the community that the blaze, known as Haliburton 18, is still around the same size as initially reported earlier this week at a little less than 13 hectares. Three crews from the Ministry of Natural Resources, along with air support, worked on getting the fire controlled this week.
