Brighton man faces impaired driving and drug possession charges

Quinte West OPP has laid charges in an impaired driving investigation. A traffic complaint on Monogram Place on Wednesday night led the OPP to suspect a motorist may have been impaired. The driver was arrested and transported to the Quinte West Detachment, where charges were laid. Andrew Mancini, 36, of Brighton, was charged with the following offences: Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs Operation while impaired - blood drug concentration Possession of a schedule I substance - Methamphetamine The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on August 11,...
