Details from June 18, 2025 Quinte West Council meeting

It was a quick meeting this afternoon for the Quinte West Council members. Petra LePage, Executive Director of Hospice Quinte, presented Council with a delegation, providing an overview of the proposed Stan Klemencic Care Centre 4 Bed Building Expansion and requested that Council waive permit fees, development charges and any other application fees in relation to this project. LePage said that there is such a need for the service that 201 clients unfortunately passed away before getting into the facility and they are currently over occupancy rates, the target with the ministry being 80%, while Hospice Quinte sits at over 90%,...
