New St. Joseph Catholic School opens in Belleville

Belleville's new St. Joseph Catholic School officially opened its doors on Monday. Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board officials said students and staff started their day at the new school on Bridge Street East. “We are so excited to see the opening of St. Joseph Catholic School,” said Michele McGrath, Superintendent of Education. “This new building will allow for so many unique learning opportunities for not only these students, but the community as well.” The Kindergarten to Grade 8 Catholic school broke ground in Spring of 2022.
