DOCTOR RECRUITMENT Brighton has taken another step to formally enhance its doctor recruitment program. At Monday's meeting, Council voted to add $50,000 to the 2025 budget to provide a fund of up to $10,000 for each new physician signed to assist with any potential moving or start-up costs. That would provide funding for up to five physicians signed under the existing program, which already provides $100,000 over a five-year period in exchange for five years of service in the community.
