More Huntsville roadwork projects kicking off Friday

The Town of Huntsville’s 2024 Capital Construction Program is on-going and though work has already began, and more is scheduled to kick-off tomorrow (July 12).  The streetlight replacement on Dara Howell Way began earlier this week. According to officials, the new lights will be installed and completed by the end of July. On July 12, work will also be taking place on:  Silver St. (West Rd. To Thunder Bridge Rd.) - Road Reconstruction  East Elliot St. (Younge St. To Wilmontt St.) - Road Reconstruction    Kitchen Road South (Main St. W. to Carns Crs.) - Asphalt Overlay  By-lock Acres (Full Road from West Browns Rd.) - Road Resurfacing and Stormwater Works According to the town, all work is scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
