MediaTek Dimensity 8450 Chip Officially Launched
The Mediatek Dimensity 8450 chip has finally been officially launched more than a month after it was launched simultaneously with the Oppo Reno14. As expected, the Dimensity 8450 is an updated model for the Dimensity 8400 which uses 4nm technology.It is equipped with eight CPU cores with a configuration of 1x Arm Cortex-A725 1MB L2, 3x Arm Cortex-A725 512KB L2 and 4x Arm Cortex-A725 256KB L2. This is then matched with an Arm Mali-G720 MC7 GPU and a MediaTek NPU 880. The chip supports LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4 storage.The supported camera system is 320MP or 32MP tri-camera capable of recording up to 4K 60FPS. Meanwhile, it can be connected to a 5G sub 6GHz network, WiFi 6E network and also Bluetooth 5.4.
