Threads Now Has Messaging or DM Feature
Meta today announced the introduction of messaging features to the Threads app. With this step, all users can send and receive private messages from other users, without having to leave the app.For this introductory phase, users can only send messages or DMs, between your followers on Threads only, or mutual followers on Instagram. For now, only individual messaging support is introduced, and group messaging support is expected to be available in the near future.To access these messages, Threads has added an envelope-shaped menu icon at the bottom, making it easier for users to access them quickly. This update is being introduced in stages and is expected to be received by everyone soon.
